Hovawart-Pro-Sport was established by a group of people enthusiastic for breeding and training of hovawarts. Their further development is important for us and we would like to prove, that hovawart is good enough for sport cynology.
In our opinion, only responsibly led breeding is contribution for improving of characters and health of dogs and that without good communication among breeders is not possible to hand over obtained experience and knowledge. We do not want politicking and single-ended enforcement of some people and groups in a breeding and training of dogs.
We are concerned to our dogs, so you can find in our websites information about hovawarts´ events, advice and experience from the education, training, performing at the dog´s show and breeding.
We do not agree with declaration, that hovawart needs special attitude during trainning and education, hovi-tools, hovi-utilities and hovi-instructors. Our opinion is that the only progress is publicity and advertisment of the breed and necesserity its integration among other working breeds at the common training grounds and centres. Problems and some bad experience, which everyone of us had at the beginnings, did not discourage us, but just on the contrary. We understood, that the only right way is to draw on the experience of instructors, who had passed the most difficult exams with their dogs. These instructors mostly had never had any other dog than German shepherd or Belgian shepherd Malinois, nevertheless their procedures, coming out of the newest trends of sport training, are also very worthwhile for our hovawarts.
We will be very pleased to share our experience with you at the our events oriented for example at defence, tracking, obedience, special rescue work or only at the training weekends. We prepare for you tournaments according to Czech or international examining rules and various competitions, where our hovawarts can compare their skills and we gather experience and make new friends.
